It is written originally in the Delphi 3 programming language. Something similar in Salamander would be a benefit, I believe.LeechFTP is a multi-threaded FTP client developed by Jan Debis and released on April 1999. (Most often, with a single file here, a single file there, LeechFTP gets the call throughout the day. ![]() Now there are times when a true download manager is called for, but most often (well most often, depending upon what I'm doing) a simple, clean program such as LeechFTP works wonders. Just about its only failing is that it does not support https. It is also quite good at "ferreting out" a true download link when the link is not direct. LeechFTP grabs that link & downloads the file. You see a file (be it http: or ftp:), right-click, Copy Link Location (in your browser), which gets copied to the clipboard. In particular the "URL Snatcher (grabs URLs from Clipboard)". LeechFTP is not a "true" download manager in the typical sense, but it performs that function very well. (I could apply that description to some other programs too.)
